For Christian Olson, joining Gooseneck Implement started with a simple goal—finding a summer internship while studying diesel technology in college. That internship turned into a full-time role in 2016, and from there, Christian’s career took off. He moved from Technician to Shop Foreman, then to Service Manager, and in 2023, stepped into his current role as General Manager of the Williston store.
When it comes to Genuine Passion, Christian says it starts with the people around him. “It’s seeing how passionate everyone in the store is,” he shared. “And helping those who aren’t quite there yet understand there’s a bigger picture—taking care of the customer and being present and personable.”
Genuine Gratitude runs deep for Christian, too. “I don’t know where I’d be without Gooseneck Implement—it’s shaped me in so many ways,” he said. That gratitude shows up daily in the way his team supports one another and their customers.
What he’s most proud of about his store? “It’s a true team—more like a family,” he said. “Everyone here knows we have a job to do, and we’re all here for the same reason: to take care of our customers.”
Working with Gooseneck customers is one of Christian’s favorite parts of the job. “It’s hard to explain—they’re all different, but they’re passionate about what they do,” he said. “A lot of them are owner-operators, and helping them achieve what’s best for their operation is rewarding. They want us to succeed just as much as we want them to.”
If he wasn’t in the ag equipment world, Christian says he’d likely be landscaping or mowing lawns—he’s got a real appreciation for a perfectly manicured yard. Something people might not know? Well, stop into Williston sometime and ask him yourself—you might just learn something new about your GM while you’re there.
