Beach Store Spotlight

Nestled in the rolling plains of North Dakota, Gooseneck Implement’s Beach location stands out not just for its service and expertise, but for the vibrant, community-oriented culture that has become its hallmark. Here, it’s not just about the machinery—it’s about the people, the relationships, and the shared commitment to supporting local agriculture in a way that’s as genuine as it is effective.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the Beach location is the longevity of its employees. With team members who have dedicated decades of their lives to the business, the wealth of experience here is unparalleled. Justin Stedman, for example, started in the wash bay while still in high school and has grown into a key service technician with nearly 20 years under his belt. His journey, alongside that of others like Bryan Tachenko, Brian Mahlum, and Tate Schatz, showcases a deep well of knowledge that younger technicians and customers alike can draw from. This blend of seasoned veterans and fresh talent creates a dynamic environment where learning and expertise thrive side by side.

Ask anyone about the culture at the Beach location, and you’ll likely hear it referred to as the “frat house.” But don’t let the playful nickname fool you—this is a place where hard work is taken seriously, even if it’s accompanied by laughter and camaraderie. The atmosphere is one of positivity, where it’s hard to walk in without hearing a joke or seeing a smile. This infectious spirit not only makes it a great place to work but also a welcoming space for customers. People know that when they walk into Gooseneck Beach, they’re not just getting top-tier service; they’re joining a community that enjoys what they do.

The farmers in and around Beach are known for their forward-thinking approach to agriculture. No-till farming, cutting-edge technology, and data-driven decisions are the norm here. The team at Gooseneck Beach embraces this mindset wholeheartedly. They are not just sellers of technology—they are users and advocates, presenting new tools and techniques to customers in a way that emphasizes long-term benefits. Whether it’s the latest See & Spray technology or precision planting with performance upgrade kits, the team ensures that their customers are always ahead of the curve.

Beyond the shop doors, Gooseneck Beach is deeply embedded in the local community. Participation in the Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, supporting local fairs, and sponsoring FFA events are just a few ways the team gives back. Notably, their collaboration with the local FFA chapter through events like the farmers market cookout and pancake feeds has raised thousands of dollars, reinforcing the bond between the dealership and the next generation of farmers. The commitment to community is also evident in their customer appreciation events, where FFA members not only participate but also give back by helping with setup and cleanup.

The success of Gooseneck Beach is built on teamwork and a shared dedication to customer service. Take, for example, a recent weekend when a customer faced unexpected downtime during harvest. The team, from parts to service, banded together—some even driving to Stanley for parts—to ensure the customer’s combine was back in action by nightfall. This willingness to go the extra mile, no matter the time or day, is a testament to the culture of collaboration and support that defines Gooseneck Beach.

At the Beach location, it’s not just about supporting our customers—we’re all about lifting each other up. Gabby Smith, who was one of our ASU Beebe students, found the perfect spot to grow at Beach. The techs really took her under their wing, giving her the support and encouragement she needed to thrive. Gabby's story is just one example of how Beach helps everyone grow, both on the job and in life.

Gooseneck Implement’s Beach location is more than just a place to buy and service equipment. It’s a hub of knowledge, a pillar of the community, and a testament to the power of a positive, inclusive work culture. Whether you’re a local farmer looking to stay on the cutting edge or just stopping by to say hello, you’ll find something special in Beach—a place where the machinery is top-notch, but the people are even better.
