A Better Way to Connect: Gooseneck’s New Call & Text Process is Here!

We’re introducing a better, more streamlined way to connect with Gooseneck Implement — now live at all 13 of our locations! You may have already noticed some changes when you’ve called a few of our stores recently, but now every Gooseneck store is officially using our updated call and text flow. This isn’t about changing the system we’ve always used — it’s about improving the way you experience it. The goal? Faster connections, quicker answers, and more ways to reach the right person for your needs. And the best part? You can now call or text us using the exact same store number.

Why We’re Excited (and You Should Be Too!)
This updated process was designed with you in mind:

  • Shorter wait times – You’ll get connected to the right person in your store faster than ever. Whether you call and leave a voicemail or send a quick text explaining what you need, your message goes straight to the team member who can actually help you. That means less unnecessary callbacks from someone who doesn’t have the answer — just quicker solutions from the right person when possible. (Some calls, like service or busy times, will still be handled by our Extended Support or admin team.)
  • Real people, real fast – You’ll be connected directly to your store’s team. If everyone in the store is busy, a member of our Extended Support team can jump in to help get you a solution or call you back.
  • Text us when you need us – Parts numbers, product questions, service inquiries — you name it, we can help. You can text your local store number during both business hours and support hours, even if the store itself is closed. If it’s after regular business hours but within our support window, your text will go straight to our extended support team or the on-call parts/service person. If it’s an emergency, we’re here for you. If it can wait, we’ll handle it first thing the next business day.
  • Direct prompts when you call – Choose Parts, Service, or Sales and get connected to the right department right away.

Texting: The Game-Changer

We know you’re busy. Sometimes, picking up the phone just isn’t convenient — but sending a quick text? Easy.

Here’s what happens when you text your local Gooseneck store number:

  1. You’ll first choose from a quick menu (1 for Parts, 2 for Service, 3 for Sales).
  2. You’ll get an automated acknowledgment message confirming that a team member will be reaching out soon.
  3. Then, a real Gooseneck team member (not a bot) will reply to help you — and you’ll even see their name so you know who you’re talking to.

This way, you get the confidence of knowing your message went through, plus the personal touch of talking directly with someone who can help.

How It Works:

  • Same store number, more ways to connect – call or text, it’s up to you.
  • When you call – listen for the prompt and choose Parts, Service, or Sales in that order.
  • When you text – follow the quick menu, receive an automated confirmation, and then connect with a Gooseneck team member during business and support hours.

Soon, you’ll also be able to receive automated text messages when your parts are ready for pickup at your local Gooseneck store.

We can’t wait to roll this out — stay tuned for how to opt in!

Why We Made This Change
At Gooseneck Implement, our purpose is to always be grateful for our Gooseneck family and the customers we serve by passionately partnering in your success. This new call & text process is one more way we can live that purpose — by giving you quicker solutions, easier connections, and real conversations with the people who can help you right away. We’re excited to offer this improved way to connect, and we appreciate your patience as we’ve rolled it out across all of our stores. We can’t wait for you to try it!

Precision Ag Combine Optimization During Harvest

Harvest is busy enough without spending extra time creating work plans or correcting field information in the cab. That's why John Deere is introducing a new feature designed to make harvest setup easier and improve the quality of your documentation. Beginning August 3, John Deere Operations Center will automatically create harvest work plans for compatible machines using the seeding data already stored in your organization. How It Works Operations Center will use your spring seeding records to automatically generate harvest work plans and send them directly to compatible machines. If your seeding data is complete and accurate, those work plans will already include information like: · Client · Farm · Field · Crop type · Variety · Additional field information from your seeding records Instead of building harvest work plans manually, your operators can get to work with fewer button pushes in the cab and spend less time managing documentation throughout the season. Why This Matters Accurate spring data leads to accurate harvest records. When your seeding information is clean and organized, this new feature helps ensure your harvest documentation is just as accurate. That means: · Less setup time before harvest · Fewer manual entries in the cab · More accurate harvest documentation · Better records for reporting and future decision-making · Potentially less office work creating harvest work plans manually Is Your Operations Center Ready? This new feature is especially beneficial for operations that have maintained clean seeding data throughout the spring. If you're not completely confident in your Client, Farm, Field, varieties, or seeding records, now is a great time to get everything cleaned up before harvest begins. Post Seeding Maintenance Package Our Precision Ag team is offering a one-time Post Seeding Maintenance Package for $500 to help prepare your Operations Center for harvest. The package includes: · Operations Center Data Cleanup · Client, Farm, and Field organization cleanup · Review and correction of post-seeding data, including: o Varieties o Acres o Task dates o Other planting information · Boundary Creation (Upon Request) o Create or update field boundaries for improved documentation and mapping · FSA & Crop Insurance Reporting Binder (Upon Request) o Receive a complete binder containing: - Seeding dates - Varieties - Acres - Additional seeding information - True field boundaries that remove overlap and identify prevented seeding acres - Seeding coverage maps with field information Whether you're preparing for harvest or organizing records for reporting, this package helps ensure your data is accurate and ready when you need it. Want to Disable Automatic Work Plans? Organizations will have Automatic Harvest Work Plans enabled by default. If you prefer to continue creating harvest work plans manually, the feature can be turned off in your Organization Preferences before August 3. While we expect most customers will benefit from having this feature enabled, it's helpful to know you have the option to manage this setting based on your operation's preferences. Need Help? If you'd like assistance reviewing your Operations Center data or would like to schedule a Post Seeding Maintenance appointment, contact your Gooseneck Implement Account Manager today. We'll help make sure your data is organized, accurate, and ready for harvest.
