Meet KB!
Regional Aftermarket Manager, Region 2
From a young age, KB Faul knew he wanted to work for John Deere—it’s been a lifelong goal that shaped his entire career path. He began as a Service Technician in Kenmare, later transferring to Minot in the same role before moving into leadership as Shop Foreman. From there, he became General Manager in Minot, and today he serves as Regional Aftermarket Manager for Region 2, covering the Kenmare, Minot, Mohall, Velva, Rugby, and Harvey locations. In this role, KB supports aftermarket teams while ensuring Gooseneck customers have the parts and service they need to keep their operations running smoothly.
For KB, Genuine Passion means taking care of employees and customers at an extremely high level. On the employee side, that means supporting their families and helping them succeed. On the customer side, it’s about supporting their ability to farm—which is not only their business but their livelihood. He sees Genuine Gratitude shine through in the never-give-up attitude of the teams he works with and in the strong relationships Gooseneck has built with customers.
What KB is most proud of is the resiliency and dedication he’s seen—both in his own journey and in the aftermarket teams he now oversees. The ability to adapt, push forward, and find success despite challenges is something he deeply values.
When it comes to working with Gooseneck customers, KB appreciates the opportunity to connect on a deeper level with their operations. “Understanding their needs and finding ways to exceed them is what drives me,” he shares. Beyond his role at Gooseneck, KB also farms himself, which gives him firsthand insight into the urgency and pressure customers face every day—and why getting things done right the first time is so important.
Something people may be surprised to learn about KB? He really hates mice. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors and has always thought it would be exciting to combine that passion with hospitality—running a bed-and-breakfast style lodge paired with guided hunting trips (preferably mouse-free). It’s the kind of work that would allow him to connect with people in a different way while still sharing something he loves. For now, though, KB says there’s no place he’d rather be than agriculture, where he gets to serve customers, support employees, and farm alongside his own family.
