Meet Greg!

General Manager, Dickinson

Greg Burgman joined Gooseneck Implement in January, bringing decades of leadership, technical expertise, and dealership experience to his role as General Manager in Dickinson. Growing up in Nebraska as the son of an Air Force serviceman, Greg learned early the value of discipline and hard work. He started working in corn fields at just 13 years old, later attending school for architecture before joining the Army. During his 13 years of military service, he worked as a technician and mechanic—discovering a hands-on career path he truly enjoyed. It was also during this time, while stationed in California, that he met his wife. Today, they have two sons and strong ties to the Dakotas.

After his father retired in Dickinson, Greg eventually made the move to North Dakota, launching a long and successful career in equipment dealerships. From shop and maintenance roles to Service Manager positions, aftermarket leadership, regional operational management, and even opening new dealership locations, Greg has led teams across multiple organizations throughout the region. With experience spanning construction and agriculture, large organizations and startup stores alike, he now brings that depth of knowledge and leadership back to Dickinson as part of the Gooseneck team.

To Greg, Genuine Passion is simple: a burning desire to be the very best in customer service. He believes excellence isn’t optional—it’s the standard. That mindset drives how he leads, how he builds teams, and how he approaches every customer interaction. Genuine Gratitude starts with valuing the customers who trust Gooseneck with their livelihood. Greg believes gratitude should be visible in how the team serves, communicates, and follows through. It’s about earning trust daily and never taking relationships for granted.

One thing Greg is especially proud of in Dickinson is the state-of-the-art facility. “It’s one of the most beautiful facilities around,” he shares. But beyond the building itself, he sees it as a tool—an opportunity to deliver a first-class experience for customers and provide employees with a workplace they can be proud of.

What Greg looks forward to most is meeting and connecting with Gooseneck customers. Building relationships, learning about their operations, and understanding how the dealership can best support them is something he’s eager to prioritize in this new role.

Something people might be surprised to learn about Greg? He’s known for being a very transparent and authentic leader. He believes in clear communication, honest conversations, and leading with integrity, whether he’s working with his team or meeting with customers. And outside of work? He’s a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Game days are serious business, and he proudly supports the black and gold every chance he gets. His loyalty to the Steelers mirrors how he approaches leadership—committed, steady, and in it for the long haul.

And if he weren’t in the ag equipment world? Greg says he’d probably be enjoying retirement—but for now, he’s focused on bringing his experience, energy, and customer-first mindset to Dickinson.
