Meet Scott!
General Manager, Kenmare
For Scott Heidel, agriculture and Gooseneck Implement have always been at the center of his story. His journey began in 1987 working for a local farmer, and after a few years living in Arizona, he returned home to Kenmare in 1992—where his Gooseneck career officially started. Scott began as a Service Technician before stepping into the role of Service Manager, a position he held for over a decade. From there, he transitioned into sales and then became General Manager in Mohall from 2007 to 2022. After three years back in sales, Scott has returned to his roots as the General Manager in Kenmare. Having experienced nearly every side of the business, he brings a deep understanding of what it takes to serve both customers and employees with care and consistency.
To Scott, Genuine Passion means staying engaged and treating people the way they want to be treated—whether that’s a teammate, a customer, or someone in the community. He believes in setting expectations, thinking things through, and not being afraid to try new approaches in order to learn and grow.
Genuine Gratitude, he says, shows up in how the Kenmare team takes care of people every day. From simply saying “thank you” to providing service that adds real value, it’s about recognizing that without their customers, none of what they do would be possible.
Born and raised in Kenmare, Scott takes great pride in his community and the people who make it special. He enjoys seeing his team work together to help customers succeed—and says that when you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work.
Something people might be surprised to learn about Scott? He’s been a certified basketball official for 25 years and is the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren. And if he weren’t in the ag equipment world, he says he’d still be working with people—likely in sales or back in the aviation industry, where he once worked as an airplane mechanic.
Scott looks forward to the years ahead, helping his team and customers continue to grow with Gooseneck Implement. For him, being part of the “One Goose” family means taking care of customers as a team and ensuring everyone—employees and farmers alike—can succeed together.
